Who Is It For?
Computers Don't Bite provides a very good introduction to computers,
particularly if you haven't used a mouse or a keyboard very often.
What will I Learn?
By working through the Computers Don't Bite course you will
learn to:
- Use a mouse including clicking, double clicking and dragging
- Use a keyboard including all the most important keys
- Text entry particularly how to enter and delete text
Is it a Qualification?
Computers Don't Bite is a very basic course, but you
will receive a certificate at the end of it.
How Much Does it Cost?
Through North Lanarkshire Council's Libraries and Information
Service, completing Computers Don't Bite is free.
What Learning Support is Available?
All our LogintoLearn staff will be able
to help you to develop the skills you need to successfully complete Computers
Don't Bite. In addition all our LogintoLearn Centres have a range of learning
materials you will be given to support your work, and some packs are available
to take home.
